Groups Starting Soon…
Deep Relaxation (a radical act )
As author Audre Lorde said:
“Caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation,
and that is an act of political warfare.”
Big words…
simple practices…
easy to enjoy…
difficult to start…
even harder to sustain…………
In this workshop we will practice 8 different methods of relaxation.
A new method every week!
For 8 weeks!!
(plus one bonus session, on week 9… see below…)
Each session lasts 60 minutes, begins with brief checkins, moves on to a brief description of the day’s practice… followed by marinating and indulging in the day’s selected relaxation practice.
Practices will include:
Mindfulness

Self Massage
Using the Voice for physical, emotional and mental stress relief
Gentle Yoga, a.k.a. mindful stretching for presence and stress relief
